scanners is down to only the small one while i test out the new api and test for the captcha, also started using hash keys so will have to work out the costs on that. at this rate though the scanner can stay on where it is forever now by the looks of for free, so upfront costs over paying by use......
About Us
I started this for myself, all i wanted was the IV's otherwise the desktop version of the tracker does everything else, almost instantly when i shared the first tracking post i got hammered with, plz expand, are you coming here etc.
All i did from then is try to make it cover my home areas of Knox and Maroondah.
I have no idea about what im doing with any of this its all new to me, im just a good learner, im trying my best but this is really expensive and time consuming.
Soon the program itself is being updated to be able to send off the data i get to a worlwide server that will have a map of-guess-the world, with everyone that sends thier data to shown on it. Knox Poké Maps started after seeing Valleymap.xyz running and was amazed.
I badly wanted a scanner for me and after over 2 weeks i finally got it up and running.
Knox Poké Maps runs only when I'm awake and my hours arnt very normal. I try to keep it on as long as possible but its expensive.
There are monthly costs like the private proxys and daily costs of up to $10 a day for the captchas, let alone my time and effort.
○ I have done the actual tracking and map via the development branch of pokemon go live maps
○ I built the website using Weeble and edited the script myself
○ I did make an android app twice and ios one but free versions were just.....bad
○The discord notifs are solely driven by DEADLY and his work with Pokealarm
○ Also edited the scripts for the map
○ I had no coding or development experience at all lol, i just enjoy playing games and love to learn.
Knox Poké Maps greatly appreciates donations especially if people want it to expand futher in the eastern suburbs.
Everyone that has donated so far Knox Poké Maps thanks you more than you can understand
TRAITS OF A POKÉMON
Various aspects of a Pokémon are important during battle and in other ways. These include its type, Hit Points (HP), Combat Power (CP), and moves. All Pokémon start out with full HP at capture, but HP can be depleted during battle. Combat Power (CP) indicates how the Pokémon will perform in battle. Not all Pokémon have the same CP—for example, if you have caught two Pikachu, they could have different CP. Some types of Pokémon will naturally always have lower CP. As you become a higher-level Trainer, the CP of Pokémon you capture will generally be higher.
COMPLETE YOUR POKÉDEX
One of the goals of Pokémon GO (and many other Pokémon games) is to catch at least one of every Pokémon available. The Pokédex will keep track of every Pokémon you've seen and which ones you've caught. Keep exploring until you discover them all!
HOW TO CATCH POKÉMON
When you're in position to catch a Pokémon, the screen will switch to a first-person view with the Pokémon in front of you. Use your touch screen to throw Poké Balls to try to catch the Pokémon. Careful—Pokémon will sometimes move around, making it tricky to catch them!
Several factors affect your chances of catching a Pokémon. The Pokémon’s CP level, the type of Poké Ball you used, your throwing technique, and other factors come into play when determining whether the Pokémon can be successfully caught. And some Pokémon will run away!
